Next, replace all your snacks with green leafy foods. Salads are perfect. I’m not saying go on a just salad diet. But when you get those cravings. A salad should win over a honeybun. You should still cut out sugary drinks and fast food. Continuing to consume them will only slow down the process.

  1. Hi William, this is some good information on losing weight over 30 pounds. I remember when I just started getting back in shape & losing weight, and just like you said losing the first 5 pounds encourages you to keep losing weight. When I started losing weight, I wish I had read this article.
    The only question I have is when you mention exercising daily, do you think weight training or bodybuilding is good, or do you lean more towards cardio based exercise. Since lifting weight helps you gain muscle (and we all know muscle weighs more than fat), do you think this will limit weight loss when first starting out?
    Otherwise, great post & keep up the great work!

    1. it depends on what your goal is. If you wish to do body building then you will need to work towards that and follow the steps to get that type of body If you are just trying to drop a few pounds or tighten up. You may not have to go as hard as you would if you were body building. Doing exercise daily isn’t hard or doesn’t mean you have to go all out all the time. You exercise just by getting up out of the bed and walking through your house.

    One thing that I have done in the past is the Keto diet, which involves low carbs and high fat. Is this diet similar?

    Also, I have tried Apple Cider Vinegar before, and it doesn’t taste good at all. What do you recommend to get through the taste?

    One more thing. Does this diet allow for protein in the diet? Or is it strictly vegetables? I noticed in your recommended foods that you include fish. Is there any substitute besides just fish on this diet?


    1. I’m not sure what the Keto diet is but I will check it out and let you know.

      Organic Honey is ideal for helping the taste of Apple cider vinegar.

      You can add protein if you’d like. I didn’t but you can if you feel it’s necessary. Just be mindful of red meats. Chicken is also a good one grilled not fried
