D-For Detox

Celery Sticks

  • 2 apples
  • 1 small handful of spinach
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 celery stick
  • a handful of ice cubes
  • 1 headed tablespoon of Dr. Udo’s Beyond Greens  Supplement (If you do not have this, replace by juicing a handful of mixed green leaves such as watercress, lettuce or parsley).

For those of you who don’t have a Juicer/Blender. I’ve done you a favor and presented both for you. You’ll see how to get to them at the end of the post.

Juice the apples, cucumber, celery, and spinach. Pour into your blender, then add ice and Beyond Green Supplement or your mixed green leaves. Blend for about 1 minute or until smooth for Beyond Greens. If you use green leaves instead of Beyond Greens, simply juice these along with other ingredients and then add the ice.

Aunt Diana

  • 1/2 small pineapple
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 banana
  • 200g natural organic yogurt (if you’re a vegan, use soy yogurt)
  • 1/2 tablespoon spirulina

Juice the pineapple and the apple then pour into your blender or smoothie maker with the banana, yogurt, and spirulina. Blend until smooth. If you don’t like yogurt (I’m not a big fan myself) use half a small pineapple instead.

6. Spicy Sunny Day

  • 3 apples
  • 1 good pinch of cinnamon

Juice the apples and pour the juice into a saucepan. Slowly heat don’t overheat though make sure it doesn’t boil. When it’s nice and hot, pour into your cup (preferably a mug), add the cinnamon and enjoy your drink.

  1. This is a very nice site very informative and easy to read good size fonts and images. You could do with ading facebook social buttons share to get more visitors.

You can also add title of url on page to remind people of the site they are in

Thank you for the very valuable information

  2. Great read! I enjoy fresh juices and thought your juice recipes were great. I’d never thought of putting apple and cinnamon together for a juice! Sounds interesting. Having the side benefit of weight loss with these juice recipes really interests me. One juice recipe we’ve enjoyed over the years has been green apples and fresh ginger. The ginger gives the juice a real zing!

  3. They all seam very healthy. The only problem I have with any of then is if there is too much acid in them because of excessive acid effecting a lot of people as they get older. Another thing I was told recently to have any acid fruit earlier in the day. I now have the last of my citrus at midday.

    1. Yes that is very true Tom and you’re right. When you drink these it’s best to do it in moderation. Especially if your older like you pointed out if could effect you in some not so good ways. Yes you can do it either way. I honestly don’t think it matters when you take it but how much you take.

  4. Thank you for sharing all the juice recipes in your article today, I do think it might be easier for some people to add nutrition through these healthy beverages then their meals. Any form of added nutrition is a plus for our health, the recipes sound very tasty and healthy.

I have never made juices like these, is there anything I need to know to make these beverages.

    1. Yes once you start it’s hard to stop. They are so delicious and you may find yourself drinking them more than you breath. But on a more serious note no there’s nothing you need to know other than these drinks are going to help better your health

  5. Nice article with great recipes for healthy beverages, many of us even when we eat healthy do not choose the most healthy beverages. People are less aware of what they drink compared to what they eat for some reason, we do need to watch what we drink more then we do to be even more healthy.

  6. the two drinks that sounded the best to me are your Aunt Diana and Spicy Sunny Day. the Aunt Diana sound like a great banana smoothie and the other well a great cold winter day drink.
you used apples in both but is one doesn’t have a juicer. would store bought unfiltered apple juice work?

    1. Yea that will work. But it’s not natural so your getting more than just apple juice. I would recommend going as natural as you can. To get the best of the best
