By the time you are done reading this post. You will know all you need to know about belly fat and how to get that dream belly you desire fast.
Belly fat is nothing to be ashamed of. It can come from a number of things. No matter how it came. That doesn’t mean you have to let it stay and it won’t if you don’t allow it to.
Just like with anything else in life. If you don’t want it around you must work to remove it. Before I get into the fastest way to slice off the pounds. I want to first give you some insight on what caused the belly fat to begin with. So once you get rid of it. You will know what to avoid and how to keep it off for good.
It’s one thing to lose weight. That’s the easy part. Keeping the weight off is the hardest part of the entire ordeal. There is nothing like losing 5lbs and gaining 15lbs in about a month or two.
I have been there and when I look back on what caused this to happen. I will admit that I did not let a lot of bad habits go. While I was on my journey to lose weight. I continued most of them and the result of that was the weight coming back. Often more than what I just had lost not too long ago.
I didn’t have guidance nor was I looking for any. So I had to learn this the hard way. But on the flip side. Me learning the hard way is exactly why you won’t have to.
Now we can jump into the meat of the post and get you started on your path to losing that belly fat once and for all.
What Is The Fastest Way To Lose Belly Fat
What Causes You To Gain Belly Fat
Like I mentioned earlier there are a plethora of things that can cause you to gain belly fat. Most people think you just gain belly fat from choking down sausage links all day. Even though that would be a fast way to gain belly fat and possibly clog your arteries. It is not the only way.
Here is a list of reasons that I have found to cause you to gain belly fat.
- Low Protein Diet – When you have a high protein diet it causes you to feel full without having to eat much food. When you have a low protein diet it is the exact opposite.
It requires you to eat more food to get that same full feeling you get from a high protein diet. This in return will cause you to gain weight. You will gain the weight without even trying to and by the time you notice it. It’ll be a little too late.
Now you have to start wearing loose clothing and buying bigger shirts/pants to hide that gut. Foods that are low in protein are things like chips, waffles, muffins, corn, and oatmeal. Foods that are high in protein are things like greek yogurt, eggs, steak, anchovies, and chicken.
- Fruit Juice – Everyone loves fruit juice and is often an alternative from sodas. But in reality, it isn’t much better and causes you to get that hump in the front as well. Even unsweetened juices still contain a lot of sugar.
So you can only imagine how much a sweetened jug/bottle does. You are literally drinking sugar.It still provides vitamins and nutrients, though. So it’s not all bad. But the fructose it has can drive insulin levels through the roof.
This is a no-no for diabetics. If you are unsure if you are diabetic. You can always check and see if you have symptoms of type 2 diabetes. I’m not saying to just delete fruit juices from your life. But if you drink them. Do it moderately do not drink them often. One every now and then is ok.
- Alcohol – Yes a beer gut is a real thing and it does come from drinking beer. Not only does drinking alcohol make you gain weight. It can cause many health issues.
More people die from alcohol than all other hard drugs combined. Be light on the alcohol consumption. You are not made of steel and your kidneys and liver will only tolerate so much of you mistreating them.
If you are a drinker and you love your drinks. Do it in moderation. I like to drink red wine. It has some positive side effects to it as well. That doesn’t mean I have a bottle everyday or weekend. I usually only drink on special occasions and when I do it’ll be like one glass.
I never was big on drinking. It doesn’t really do anything for me. If you are a hardcore drinker, though. You will get fat. There is no if and’s or buts about it. Not only will you gain weight but you will open yourself up to get other negative health issues in the future.
- Sugary Foods/Beverages – Sugar is the reason you gain weight. The sugar in what you eat and drink causes you to develop belly fat. Check the ingredients on what you eat/drink. If it has sugars or an ingredient called High fructose.
If it does have high sugar level along with high fructose. Be mindful of how you indulge in it. Because that will cause you to gain weight over time.
Especially if you eat/drink a lot of it. A ton if not all sodas have high fructose in them. Certain foods have them also like canned fruits, salad dressing, frozen junk foods, candy, and breakfast cereal.
- Laziness – If you just sit around all the time and eat/drink like there’s no tomorrow. You will soon develop belly fat. Being inactive is a big one. Because it is really the main cause in a lot of cases for many people.
Especially when you are sitting around and eating/drinking things that loaded with sugars and high fructose. That is the perfect recipe for gaining belly fat.
When you do that you are basically dialing 1-800-Give Me Belly Fat hotline. Be active get up and jog or walk around the block if not that run on a treadmill.
You can also exercise to lose unwanted belly fat as well. It has to be targeted exercises, though. Or else you will be working on body parts that do not need attention.
- Menopause – This is geared towards women. Even though doctors have come to a conclusion that guys do in fact have a testosterone decline at certain points in life. That can be linked to weight gain as well.
The menopause for women usually occurs one year after her menstrual period. During this time the woman’s estrogen level has dropped drastically.
Causing fat to be stored in the belly rather than going to the hips and thighs. Resulting in belly fat. Although this fat is not harmful. It can be a headache to get rid of.
- Stress – Being stressed out can cause you to gain belly fat as well. When your stress hormone(Cortisol) produces too many of these hormones it can cause weight gain.
More so in the belly than anywhere else. You will cause yourself to over produce these hormones by being stressed out. Being stressed out often time leads to you overeating and that is another red flag for weight gain.
Don’t get too down about things. I know life can throw a lot at you and make you feel like an ant with a crane on its back. But you can/will get through it. Just keep your mind as positive as you can and make moves.
- Genetics – You may just have belly fat genes. If your family has a history of being obese or having belly fat. You are probably going to have the same in the future. This is still not an excuse for you to stay that way, though. You can get rid of that if you so happen to choose to.
- Not Enough Sleep – If you do not get the right amount of sleep each night. You are not only hindering your function ability for the next day. But you are also knocking on belly fat’s door and asking to move in.
You need at least 7 hours of sleep each night. If you only get 5 or less that is not good. You may be setting yourself up for other health issues in the future as well. Be sure to get the proper sleep.
- Trans Fats – Are one of the worst types of fats in the world. Trans fats are often used to extend the shelf life of packaged foods. These fats have been shown to cause insulin resistance, inflammation, heart disease and many other things.
Often times a B12 Supplement helps with the first two issues. I know that first hand. I was a diabetic back in 2003. Trans fats have been linked to causing belly fat. Be sure to monitor your intake of them. Or even remove it from your diet completely if possible.
You now have the major causes of belly fat. You see them and have a clear understanding on how they pack on weight to your stomach. It’s nothing to dread or be worried about.
Because now that we have gotten through the gloom of the post. We can get into the sunshine and how you can remove that unwanted belly fat for good.
The Fastest Way To Lose Belly Fat
Before we get in this I want to let you know that you will not lose weight in 10minutes after applying the information I’m about to give you. This isn’t an overnight lose 40 pounds type thing either.
I give realistic information with realistic goals to back them up. So the amount of weight you can lose and the time you can do it will be realistic. Anyone telling you that you can lose weight overnight without surgery is simply lying to you.
That isn’t logical. I would advise you to stop listening to them. Especially if they are asking for your money. That’s a scam. I can see it a mile away.
Don’t fall victim to those like I did when I was first starting out. Trying to find quick fixes for weight loss on the internet.
Ok now that I have that out of the way. Let me give you what you came for.
If you can create a plan and follow it through faithfully you are already half way there. When I say a plan I mean something that will have the following listed on there.
It doesn’t have to be in this order. But your plan does, in fact, need to have each of these listed on there somewhere. Let me explain each in a bit more detail. So you can understand the importance of them better.
Dieting – You want to have your dieting plan laid out clear and followable. You just don’t want to do it blindly. For one that is extremely hard to remember and two, it probably won’t last long. With it written down, you can see it and it’ll remind you what you need to do and how to do it.
Doing a vegan diet is ideal for fast weight loss. Along with Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. I have done these two combined in the past. I will be the first one to say. It was like weight loss on steroids. No, I didn’t lose massive amounts of weight in like 3 days.
But I did in 3-5 months. The proof is in the pudding. Simply implement these two and make it up in your mind that you are in it for the long haul. This will be a testimony for you as well.

Exercises – You will want to have your exercises in order. Be sure to rotate them every other day. So whatever you have planned to do Monday first.
Do it second on Wednesday and apply this to the rest of what you have on your list. If you do not have any in mind and need a little guidance. I have a few posts I have written previously that you can benefit from and maybe get some ideas from also.

When I first got started I was so lost. I did not know what or where to start as far as exercises went. Reading books/watching tv helped me come up with my own workouts and even use some of what I seen in the books/tv shows.
They really help out a lot. But if you are a bit seasoned to this and have your exercises in place. You can disregard the books/tv shows and continue reading on.
Times – You need to have set times that you are going to exercise and eat. This gets your body trained and makes the process run a lot smoother.
If you do not have set times you are going to become overwhelmed and eventually stop doing it. Life just has too much going on for some people and that on top of trying to eat the right foods along with exercise.
Will become very hard if not impossible to do. Not having a plan will make this all the more mind wrenching. So be sure to jot down time frames that require you ti be detected solely to your weight loss mission.
Goals – This here will be motivation. Once you see the goal you have written down. It will motivate you to go even harder. Make sure that they are realistic, though. I have stated this in a few of my past posts about weight loss.
But it is true and should be stressed every time anyone is giving information on weight loss. You do not need to play yourself by making an unrealistic goal and giving up on weight loss when you don’t complete it.
That is bogus and a cop out. I’ve literally seen a person write down they wanted to lose 30 pounds before the weekend. This was on a Tuesday. The weekend rolls around and they obviously didn’t lose the 30lbs.
Then decided to give up on weight loss like that was even possible in the first place. Don’t be that person. Write you down something you know you can accomplish.
You don’t have to go all out and jot down that you are trying to lose 50lbs in 2 months. It doesn’t have to be that massive. You can start off small which I recommend and then work your way up. This way your body will be ready and built for the extra tasks you’ll be putting onto it.
Tracking – You will want to defiantly make sure you are tracking your results. Rather you check them weekly or monthly. Make sure you are tracking your results.
This will show you if what you are doing is even working and if what you are doing is, in fact, knocking off those pounds. Tracking is the most vital part of this whole thing. If you aren’t tracking what you are doing. Then what are you even doing?
Now that you have the blueprint for the plan down. It’s time to reveal what you will need to do in order to lose this belly fat as fast as possible.
It is quite simple actually nothing extreme or off the wall.
You will want to take them at least twice a day. You can do more if you desire. But three is the max. You can learn the step by step guide to make Apple Cider Vinegar/Green tea combination in my post titled apple cider vinegar for weight loss recipes.
It’s not fancy at all. But I guarantee you it will work. You will see results in about 2-3 weeks. If followed properly with exercise. The weight has no choice but to come off and it’s going to.
Make your plan with the methods I listed above and you will see. I always thought I had to be apart of some big extravagant weight loss program in order to lose weight/belly fat.
But in reality, all I did most of the time was lose money and a lot of it at that.
Once I found out this method I was so astounded. One because I came up with it just sitting on the couch at home one day. Two it was free to come up with. Three the actual price I did invest was nowhere near as much as I did with big brand weight loss programs.
Moral of the story is to not chase the big fancy weight loss programs. Such as weight watchers and Jenny Crag’s diet. Chase what works for you. Whether it is what I just mentioned above or if it is, in fact, a fancy big name weight loss program. Do what works for you.
You now have it. I have spilled the secret sauce. I promise you that it is effective. It seems so basic and plain jane. That’s what makes it so good, though. What you need to take from this is that now that you know the major reason you have belly fat.
You need to work twice as hard to make sure it doesn’t come back. I say that because I know for a fact that if you use the methods I mention. That your belly fat is going to disappear. I’ve seen it happen to many times to think otherwise.
With people I know personally and myself. I thought nothing could rid of my belly fat. But here I am today. I’m still not at my desired weight. But I’m not obese any longer. I’m not ashamed to take off my shirt at the beach any longer.
